We will drive to Kastamonu-Çankırı direction. Our vehicle is departing from the MONTIS office at 05:45 in the morning. We will reach the point where we will start our hike before noon. After a short preparation, we will be moving towards our camp in the magnificent forest. We will proceed slowly by making a trail on this on route that leads to the camp on the wide forest trails. Almost after an hour of access walk on skis, we will get to the place where we will set our campsite. We will carefully prepare our camp site according to the snow conditions and take a short rest in our tents. Our activity today is a 1-2 hours warm-up activity on the forested slopes. This activity will increase our adaptation to each other, to the mountain and to the height. It will also be very efficient for us to review the indispensable safety procedures of alpine touring. By observing the conditions on the mountain, we will determine the most appropriate strategies for tomorrow. In the evening, we retreat to rest in this peaceful environment in our tents as we wake up early and start skinning up tomorrow.
