10-11 May 2025 | Proud Guardian of the Fertile Plains
Mount Hasan stands tall over the Cappadocia and Salt Lake regions, watching over the fertile plains of Central Anatolia like a vigilant guardian. Whether you pass by on a highway or admire it from afar, its majestic presence is simply unforgettable. Alongside its sibling, Mount Erciyes, this volcanic giant has enriched these lands with its fertile blessings and served as a vital water source for the region.
Rising to 3,268 meters, Mount Hasan is particularly stunning in spring, offering a unique allure. Without its snowy crown, the ascent may not seem as inviting to experienced climbers and mountain sports enthusiasts. However, when spring arrives and the highlands turn lush green, the time for an unforgettable camping and climbing experience has come. With snow still lingering in its corridors, it attracts mountaineers, seasoned hikers, and nature lovers alike. The summit is also surprisingly accessible—if you choose the right time, have the necessary fitness level, and join a well-prepared expedition, you can conquer this magnificent peak in just a day or two.
We have organized a special weekend climb during the spring season for those who are ready for this challenge. This ascent is recommended for participants with prior experience and a good level of physical fitness. To enhance the adventure, our Mount Hasan Climb includes a camping experience, offering a chance to fully immerse in the mountain’s breathtaking landscapes.
Due to the high demand for both the event and our expert tour leaders, we highly recommend securing your spot as soon as possible!

We depart from designated meeting points in Ankara and take a breakfast break along the way. By midday, we will reach the foothills of Mount Hasan. Depending on road conditions, our starting point for the hike may vary. After setting up camp and resting, we will go on a short acclimatization hike. The night will be spent resting in preparation for an early morning ascent.
Before sunrise, we set off for the summit. While the ascent does not require technical climbing, it includes steep sections where ice axes and crampons may be used. After a challenging 6-hour climb, we will stand atop this magnificent volcano at 3,268 meters. On a clear day, we will enjoy breathtaking views of the Aladağlar mountain range and Mount Erciyes, the highest volcano in Central Anatolia.
After spending a maximum of 45 minutes at the summit (depending on weather conditions), we will carefully descend. About 4 hours later, we will arrive back at our camp for a short rest before packing up. We then hike down to meet our vehicle and begin our return journey to Ankara, arriving in the evening. You will now be among those who have conquered the volcano that once mesmerized you from afar!
Tents for accomodation.
