From the Skirts of Mt.Olympos to Gelidonia Lighthouse -Lycian Way

Day 1:  Meet at Antalya Airport. Transfer to  Phaselis Ancient City – Trek  from Ulupinar to Cirali over eternal flames.

We will meet you at the Antalya airport in the morning. After a short introduction about our itinerary and staff we will start driving to Phaselis Ancient city. A former Lycian harbour, Phaselis, has still some of the historical features standing such as the main agora.

Then we will have a short drive to Ulupinar to have lunch. After lunch will hike up to the first eternal flames. Our hike will end up at Cirali Bay which is a nest of carettas.

Late in the afternoon we will drive to our lodge for diner and overnight.

Day 2: Cirali – Olympos Ancient City – Musa Mountain – Adrasan Bay

We will start today’s excursion from our hotel in Cirali. We will walk along the bay of Olympos, and then head up to the mountain, Mt Musa. On our way we will see some of the ruins of ancient Olympos city. The forest has the most enriched population of sandal trees. We will hike up the trails among the sandal trees in the forest to the top of the mountain, and then have a gradual descent to Adrasan. A short transfer will take us to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Trek from Adrasan to Gelidonya Lighthouse – Transfer to Antalya Airport

One of the most scenic hikes of 500 km-long Lycian way is just a step ahead of us. We start our trek today from Adrasan and traverse the cliffs and hills covered with pine forest. Along the route we will have a nice view of several bays. We will descent to Gelidonya Lighthouse and have a picnic lunch on the terrace. We will have short walk down the trails to the coast and meet our vehicle to drive to Antalya Airport. En route we can stop by our lodge and prepare for our flight depending on the timing.
