We’re starting a new series of events in the capital of mountaineering in our country, Aladağlar. For those who want to fully immerse themselves in Aladağlar, prepare for major expeditions, and get motivated by conquering several peaks in a week, we’re heading to different areas during each climbing week. We set up our main camps with the MONTIS difference for your safety and comfort. Now, you can focus solely on climbing. Then, it’s time for consecutive climbs and summits.
Why Aladağlar?
Undoubtedly, when it comes to mountaineering, the unique region of Aladağlar in the Toros Mountains comes to mind first. In this area that has become our home, there are mountains and routes that offer opportunities for all types of climbing activities. Rather than peaks where you can drive right up to the routes, Aladağlar offers isolated, challenging terrains, providing a true wilderness experience.
For this climbing week, we’ve chosen the Dipsiz Göl Camp, where you can access the routes of Aladağlar’s giant peaks. We set up our main camp at the final point where Büyük Cımbar Vadisi opens its arms to the mountains. You’ll easily reach our camp with just your trekking bags, carrying nothing but your daily load. Then, we’ll present you with a menu consisting of classic routes from the region. We’ve brought together those who can climb by walking and those who can play with rock surfaces to climb in this selection. You can also see this activity as a developmental event in mountaineering. You’ll gain a new mountain experience every day and receive new training with our experienced mountain leaders. You may not want to climb all the selected mountains, but our main camp is at your disposal to enjoy the mountains. We’ve already added a day of rest to the program where you can sip your coffee, read your book, and cool off in Dipsiz Göl.
You should consider this tour as a unique climbing activity where you can receive exclusive mountain leadership and guidance services.
We’re also ready to provide training and consultancy to those who don’t feel ready for this climb with limited participants. Please contact us for your needs. This announcement is for those who want to experience high mountains and rugged peaks with careful and competent mountain leaders. We recommend you to make your reservation quickly.

Recommended Equipment and Suggestions for Our Camping Tours in Aladağlar:
Travel Bag: Please bring a bag of sufficient size to carry your belongings during intercity travel. We kindly request that you do not bring hard suitcase-type bags for nature tours. Soft sports bags, backpacks, handbags, and similar soft bags are suitable for this trip. Please bring backpacks with appropriate volume, comfort, and safety features for carrying camping gear during our activities.
Backpack: It’s important that your backpack can accommodate the items you will need during the day’s activities. We do not recommend carrying items in your hands or outside the backpack during nature walks. Therefore, medium-sized backpacks with a volume of 30-45 liters are most suitable for these types of activities. Rain cover bags, which are now standard in many backpacks, are also important in rainy weather. If your backpack does not have a rain cover, we recommend obtaining one separately.
Sleeping Bag: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have suspended sleeping bag rental services. We recommend that you bring a sleeping bag suitable for the weather conditions for your health and comfort. You can consult with us regarding the current weather conditions in the region, general climate conditions, and what to consider when choosing a sleeping bag.
Hiking Boots with Firm Soles: For your health, please avoid walking for long periods in the wilderness with very flexible and soft-soled shoes. If you are a steady hiker, we recommend purchasing hiking boots specifically designed for trekking with firm and orthopedic soles. Please note that water resistance is an important feature to look for in hiking boots during rainy seasons.
Spare Sports Shoes: We recommend bringing an extra pair of shoes for comfort during travel, as well as to use as spare shoes after hiking. You can leave them in the vehicle or at the campsite during our hiking tours.
Socks: It’s always more comfortable and healthy to walk with synthetic trekking socks with supported soles and toe tips. We recommend carrying an extra pair of socks with you on all hikes.
Gloves and Beanie: It’s important to have gloves and a beanie with you in cold weather. Beanies with designs that cover your ears are preferred during nature tours. Even in summer seasons, please carry gloves and a beanie on our tours that pass through mountains and high altitudes.
Hat: We recommend carrying a hat with a brim, preferably one that protects your neck from the sun, in all seasons. Bandanas and buff materials are also recommended for all seasons either instead of or along with a hat.
Rain Gear: We especially recommend using lightweight, breathable, and adequately waterproof rain jackets/anoraks. Anoraks should always be with us on our tours during autumn-winter and spring walks. Gore-Tex or similar materials are our preferred choice for rain jackets/anoraks as they allow body vapor to escape, significantly reducing internal sweating, and are also highly waterproof.
Polar Fleece and Warm Clothing: Polar fleece jackets and half-zip polar sweatshirts are recommended for their lightness and resistance to moisture absorption during nature activities. Woolen clothes are not very suitable for outdoor activities. Fiber-filled anoraks are heavy and take up a lot of space. Therefore, polar garments worn under breathable rain jackets/anoraks are always preferred for comfort and lightness.
Pants and Shorts: We recommend using synthetic or semi-synthetic trekking pants for hikes. Garments made of cotton, linen, etc., make movement difficult and do not dry quickly when wet, so they are not suitable for outdoor activities. We generally do not recommend shorts and short garments for hikes as they do not protect you from scratches and minor injuries in rugged terrain or dense vegetation.
Drinks: We especially recommend carrying 1.5 – 2 liters of water on hiking tours. Sweetened drinks can increase thirst over time, so they are not recommended. Depending on your preference, you can also bring some of your drinks in a thermos as a hot drink. We especially recommend carrying hot drinks on our mountain tours during autumn-winter seasons and at high altitudes.
Thermos: We recommend carrying a plastic or, preferably, steel thermos with you as long as it is not glass-lined. You can also use this to carry hot drinks
