Mt. Erciyes Winter Ascend (3917 m) hakkında.

We arrange a winter climbing to the Central Anatolia’s highest mountain, Erciyes. This climbing is a genuine alpinism activity. We announced that to the enthusiasts who want to enjoy real alpinism. When The Central Anatolian Mountain covered with snow and the winter climbing season start, you will meet with imposing views and overwhelming beauty of the environments.  We call you winter season’s one of the most beautiful climbing.

Erciyes Mountain which is 3916 m is the highest mountain of the Central Anatolian also is the biggest volcano of the Turkey. We prefer this mountain as our primary choice due to its short and enjoyable routes. You can climb to the peak from various routes. Even in winter season, routes have short and technical stages. We recommend this climbing our participants who should be confident at using ice axe crampons also should have at least basic level of winter climbing and camping. Besides we should point out that this activity is very beneficial to those who want to upgrade its climbing level and are curious about more technical climbing.

This activity which takes place in the Çoban lair, heart of the Erciyes, is a winter camping with layover facility. We will reach to the peak depends on the snow and weather condition. In addition to that our team will choose a lane from various alternatives. This is going to be a tough alpinism activity.

When you are able to see the surrounding mountains, without doubt this is going to be the most impressive moment of these climbing. The most impressive moment of this activity is when we reach the peak and see the mountain views. Do not forget to bring your photo cameras.

This climbing will be a advance challenge for our Ağrı Mountain winter climbing tour and of course we are inviting you to this beautiful tour. This time is different because this time will be with Montis…

We should remind you that especially in rainy weather, your boots should be waterproof.

Gaiter: It prevents to enter mud or water into your boots. Also it provides isolation. Grab a pair of gaiters with you.

Spare pair of sneakers: A pair of sneakers or sport shoes will be comfortable while travelling. Especially boots may get wet at the end of the day and you can wear your trainers in the coach while travelling.
